New teen-fronted band Red Voodoo release first single “Rise Up” with Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon
Red Voodoo hail from Sacramento California and are all in their teens save for a 21-year old drummer. Sporting a classic rock sound their first single “Rise Up” has apparently been influenced by their view of the current Covid-19 situation around the globe and how we can all rise against the pandemic. They list their influences being Van Halen, Montrose and Sammy Hagar. The band has even borrowed its name seemingly from Hagar‘s studio album called Red Voodoo.
